Well Joseph did well today. I gave him his antihistamine this morning, but did not give him his 2nd or 3rd dose. He seemed to be fine. We had burritos today, and he did fine with the flour tortilla. I am still giving him his herpanacin vitamin, 2 in morning, 2 at night. The worse part of his skin is still looking good, except from the flare up from yesterday from the pizza. The worst part is on his hands and he has blotches on his legs. Even when at best the blotches on his legs are raised. The skin will be smooth, but it is still raised. I will inquire with the dr. to make sure it is not a fungal type thing going on. For dinner we had broccoli rabe and chicken. No carbs. For snack I gave them both Anthonys sugar free pudding- I had nothing else to give them. I am still trying to figure out ideas how to give Joseph his vitamin supplement other than pudding and yogurt.
Gabriel- his skin is pretty dry and peeling. I have been spending more time on Joseph and Gabriels seems to be itchier and his patches are growing. Maybe it is the fact Gabriel is not taking an antihistamin? I haven't been giving Gabriel regular Herpanacin supplement, maybe I should. I also started giving the both of them vitamin b12 sublingual. So they get mutlitvitamin, probiotic, vitamin C, and vitamin B.

Joseph gets Chocolate Milk
Well, since Joseph had his allergy testing he got pizza and chocolate milk with his lunch. He AND Gabriel guzzled the choc milk. That was a surprise to me that Gabriel drank the milk, he has always taken a sip then shaken at the taste of it and refused anymore. They also had pizza. About 20 minutes afterwards I noticed Joseph really started scratching, so much so that he scratched up some skin. Gabriel seemed normal. Joseph had already had some of his Hydroxyzine antihistamine, but he was still scratching. That let me know that I will have to continue in the gluten free. When ever he has been given milk he has never had a itching reaction, so I cancelled out the milk, plus the test he was given on Monday he showed no reaction to milk. Joseph's skin is really looking better altogether. I think the fact that I am closely watching and not feeding stuff with additives and dyes and that sort of thing, and just water is helping him. I am giving him the herpanicin 2 pills 2 times a day, but I forgot to give it to him in the evening yesterday. Its hard becuz I have to mix it into somehting like pudding or something with a strong enough taste to mask it. He is getting pickier, so it is harder to get him to take the contents of the pill.

The allergists Test.
Okay, since I was unable to finish the previous post, I am just gonna jump to today. Joseph had an allergist appt today. He was tested for all 60 foods. The allergist said he is a HIGHLY allergic person. Referred him to a nutritionist and also scheduled an appt for a month from now. Joseph is no longer allergic to milk. From what I understand the highest reaction is a 4. The ones that stood out to me where the wheat- 2. Banana and watermelon he is NOT allergic to as I thought he may have been, all nuts he reacted at a 4, but not at all to brazil nut. All fish a 4 except tuna at a 2. And the strangest one was Pork at a 3 and Garlic at a 4. So, that was a good thing! I came home and gave him a cup a milk! He didnt drink all though. Oh well, good to know he is doing better and God is healing him. I have been giving him and Gabriel a probiotic. And I have been giving Joseph a vitamin supplement for skin called herpanacin. I open the capsule then pour it into something like yogurt or pudding or something like that. It really does look better. BUT the scratching is still crazy. The dr. gave me a script for ataral and also another EPIpen, Jr.. Maybe tomorrow if I am not too busy I will start posting what he is actually eating and how much he is drinking. I am trying my best to monitor him and I really have to push him to get his liquids in. Every now and then I give him vitamin b sublingual, but have to research and see if that is safe for him. Going to order the book the Yeast Connection. was told by Bishop Margaret vitamin B goes against yeast.
Okay, so the Last time I wrote a blog on here was my first one and it happened to be 2 years ago and it was my first blog. Well, now I am back and my plan is to note my sons conditions with his his eczema. A briref background of info. Joseph will be 4 years old in August. He was breastfed. He has been tested for food allergies and is allergic to everything he was tested for. He was tested for eggs, milk, soy, strawberries, tomatoes, fish, shell fish, peanuts. Recently I went to whole foods store and a man that worked there told me that it may be a yeast overgrowth in his intestinal tract. He said that if you have been on antibiotics or steroids this can cause an imbalance. So He fit the description- dry flaky skin on scalp, eczema all over his body. At that time I was giving him apple juice mixed w/equal water and as much as he and Gabriel wanted. I did this becuz he couldnt have milk. Well on that I immediately stopped giving them both juice that very day. May 30th, they have been drinking water since and haven't really even asked for juice. I had already taken them off of wheat the previous day. Since then their skin has broken out badly, he had a flare up of staph infections. It was a mess, horrible. But I kept at it.
